Indoor League Registration Open

Indoor League is taking place again this year at Goals, an indoor turf arena in Catonsville. The season starts on January 8, and goes until March 14. Games are on Monday or Wednesday nights, starting at 8:30 pm or 9:45 pm, and lasting for an hour and 15 minutes. We were able to get an extra 30 minutes more than last year. Cost for the season is $75.

You must sign up through the Catonsville Rec and Parks website, using the “896 Ultimate Frisbee (League)” menu option. Make sure you select League instead of Clinic.

If you do not want to be contacted about opportunities to sub for other games (usually on the same night), please write “No sub” in the “Note to Organizers” field when you sign up.

The signup process on the CRPC website is somewhat complicated. You can use these instructions to help guide you through the process.

You can read more details about the league on the indoor league page.

Our annual Thanksgiving Hat Tournament returns Saturday, November 18 at Lansdowne Middle School from 12:30 until dark!

What’s a Hat Tournament?
Teams are formed by the random drawing of names from a hat. You will then play with that team all afternoon in a spirited one day round-robin tournament.

Teams will be formed when a quorum is achieved, so please arrive on time!

Who can play?
Anyone that is 18 years old or older.

What’s provided?
Hot chocolate, apple cider, sodas, snack food, etc

Should I bring anything?

Although the hat tournament is free, please bring a donation of two (or more) canned goods. Donations of clothing, toys, baby furnishings and any household items will be gratefully accepted. All donations will go to the Catonsville Emergency Assistance, which serves greater Catonsville residents with emergency food, eviction prevention, and utility cut-off intervention.

Additionally, please bring some food for our feast: chips & salsa, cookies, chili, veggies, etc.

(Also, don’t forget a light and a dark t-shirt)

What about rain?
If rain is threatening, call 301-490-1860 Saturday morning for the official cancellation word. A cancellation notice will also be posted on this website and on facebook.

Anything else?
Volunteers are always needed! Please email if you can help with set up, fields, or clean up!
