Summer Mixed League Captain Recruitment
Players interested in captaining a team for this summer’s Mixed League should email Kevin Baker.
Captains will be selected by the board of directors with input from the league commissioners. The board will prioritize mixed gender captains.
Factors taken into consideration: experience captaining, feedback received from previous years, and commitment to the mission.
Responsibilities include weekly emails, serving as the liaison between your team and the league commissioner, and ensuring equal playing time and overall positive experience.
Summer Clique League Teams Needed
Our Summer Clique League is looking for teams and captains!
Players interested in putting a team together for this Summer’s Clique League should email Daniel Sprechman. We’re looking for core groups of 4+ women and men that want to play together, or players with captaining experience.
McDonough School is having an Ultimate Frisbee day camp for 11-to-18 year olds from June 24–28 from 9 a.m.–4 p.m., with lunch provided.
The cost is $265 and you can receive $50 off if you refer 2 friends. Transportation and busing is included on a first come first serve basis.

There is a Girls’ Ultimate Movement Clinic on May 11 from 12 – 2 p.m. at Notre Dame Preparatory School, 815 Hampton Lane, Towson, MD 21286
The Girls’ Ultimate Movement (GUM) is a community-wide outreach program designed to increase girls’ participation in the sport of ultimate. No previous ultimate or disc throwing experience necessary. This a great way to improve your skills or try out ultimate!

Maryland has submitted and received a bid to the Youth Club Championships in Blaine, MN this coming August 3-5 for an U-20 Mixed team.
We are very excited for this and are hoping that you can help us recruit for this team.

The CMUA Board is having their Open Board/Annual Meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, at Blue Pit BBQ (upstairs), 1601 Union Ave, Baltimore, MD 21211.

Spring Pickup begins on March 11 and runs every Monday from 8:30pm to 10:30pm through May 20 at the Catonsville HS turf field.
Spring League will run alongside Spring Pickup on Monday nights at the Catonsville HS turf field. There will be an early game (8:30-9:30pm) and a late game (9:30-10:30pm), and players will be able to participate in pickup either before or after their scheduled league game. Spring League will begin on March 25 and will run for approximately eight weeks.
Depending on the number of League signups, our aim is to have four teams and play 7v7. Teams will be formed by the league commissioner. One mutual baggage request per player.
A cost of $20 will grant access to BOTH Spring Pickup and Spring League for the season. If players wish to participate only in pickup and not in the league, they may indicate as much on the TeamSnap signup.
