CMUA Monday nights continue this fall, starting on August 12th and running every Monday from 8:30pm to 10:50pm through October 21st at the Catonsville HS turf field.  The first two weeks will be pickup, with Fall League beginning on August 26th and running for approximately nine weeks.

League games will last 75 minutes, starting as close to 8:30pm as possible, and players may stick around for pickup afterwards.  Our aim is to have four teams and play 7v7 with a mixed format. Teams will be formed by the league commissioner. One mutual baggage request per player. Cost is $20.

Our annual combination pick-up game/crab-feast/picnic returns Sunday, August 18 from 11 a.m. until dark at the Catonsville Community Park (a.k.a. The Senior Center).

Pick-up starts around 11 a.m. and the picnicking starts around 1-ish. Silly games start soon after that. All CMUA members (active or inactive or retired) are invited!

CMUA will provide the drinks (beer & soda) and the crabs and the corn. Players should bring a white and a dark t-shirt, and something to grill if they’re not into crabs. Please note there is no rain date for the crab feast

CMUA and WAFC are looking for volunteers for the Chesapeake Open 2019 on August 10th and 11th at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, MD. We need volunteers to assist with setting up and breaking down fields, filling water jugs, collecting scores, and other tasks related to running the tournament.

If you’re available, please contact Kevin Baker (kevinjbaker19@gmail.com). It’s not required nor expected that you have to work both days of the tournament; time shifts are available if you can’t come for an entire day as well.

A valid submittal should include:

1. The nominee’s name and contact information (e-mail and phone number)
2. Photograph (square dimensions preferred)
3. Short bio (60 words or less)
4. A longer statement (please not more than 300 words) about why the nominee wants to be on the Board, possibly including visions or goals for CMUA leagues, tournaments, or the local community.

Voting for the three new Board Members starts July 1 and ends on July 14.

Registration for our Monday Night Mixed and Wednesday Night Clique leagues begins Friday, May 10. Visit the 2019 Summer League page for complete registration information.

The costs for the leagues are as follows:

• Monday Night Mixed: $40
• Wednesday Night Clique Mixed: $30

Mixed League

Only opposite gender baggages may register between May 10-15. On May 15, registration opens to individual female-matching players and female-matching baggage pairs. On May 20, individual male-matching players and male-matching baggage pairs can register until the male cap is reached.
